Dear Daddy, Oh what joy I feel in my heart for the day that I will see you again but oh what sadness I feel because I cannot see you here anymore along life's journey to our heavenly home. You taught me so much about love and forgiveness and the goodness and compassion of God. I miss our telephone conversations that we had everyday before you had to leave your home. The many things that you did for us as children will never be forgotten. My life has been made richer by your love and guidance thru out life. Oh the stories that I could tell, but there just isn't enough time or space to write it all. I am so glad I wrote down some things in my Bible by the scriptures that you preached from. One of my favorite sermons was on the Prodical Son and how the Father forgave his son and welcomed him back into the fold of the family. I pray that I can live a life that you would be proud and able to say "that is my daughter". I love you Daddy! "Janie"

Mr. Johnson was one of my favorite people. During his many visits at Newton Grove Drugs, he and I often engaged in a conversation that nearly always concerned the goodness of God. Each of us was a strong believer, and we ultimately knew that God had promised us eternal life at the end of this life's journey. He was a Godly man and was blessed with such a fine wife and children. To the children, thanks for sharing your parents with us at Newton Grove Drugs. It was a pleasure serving them. Love
