Mr. Joe Dan Rose, 77, of Newton Grove passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017. Mr. Rose' funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. at Pleasant Union Christian Church in Newton Grove, N.C. The family will receive friends at West & Dunn Funeral Home in Newton Grove on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 6 till 8 P.M. Mr. Rose will be laid to rest in Hillcrest Cemetery following the funeral service.

Survivors include his wife Vivian Rose, sons Joe Mark Rose and wife Luanne of Newton Grove and Stephen Paul Rose of Newton Grove. Grandchildren Carson Rose and wife Kayla of Newton Grove, Miranda Chambers and husband Travis of Spring Lake, Anna Rose and Joseph Rose both of Newton Grove. Great Grandchild Colton Rose. Sister, Margie Rose of Fayetteville and brother Jack Rose of Four Oaks. Mr. Rose was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Vara Rose, sister Iris Honeycutt and brothers William Rose and Seth Rose.
