I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Marcus. I met Marcus when I worked Part-time at the Short Stop in Erwin. He was always a joy. We would joke around and laugh because he would say somethings and the only thing you could do was laugh. Then I quit working night shift and I didn't see him much but one day he was walking through the parking lot at my full time job over at Erwin Town Hall and he made it a point to stop and give me a hug and of course he always had a way with words especially with the women lol....and we both just laughed and I told him to be careful and stay out of trouble. He said Star I am doing great and I am trying my best to stay out of trouble that was our last conversation but I would every now and then see him walk through the parking lot with Gene and he would wave at me and smile. I will never forget his smile and I will especially not forget him. I will keep his family lifted up in prayer.
1 Thessalonians:13-14 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the res of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
