Teresa Gill

            Teresa Beth (Wood) Gill gained her Heavenly wings Thursday, September 8th, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones. She fought so hard but ultimately lost her battle with cancer.

            Teresa was born on June 30, 1961, to Gerald Rudolph and Norma (Lucas) Wood. She graduated from Erwin High School in 1979 and earned her degree in Business Administration from CCCC in Johnston County. Teresa worked for Harnett County Finance in Lillington for 16 years. She loved those sweet ladies that she worked with like family!

            Teresa is survived by one daughter, Holly Beth Gill, and grand cat Penelope of the home as well as her brother Anthony (Tony) Gerald Wood (and wife Kathie) from Melbourne, Florida; sister Kimberly (Wood) Jones (and husband Gary) from Fayetteville, NC; brother in law William (Pat) Gill (and wife Terri) from Dunn, NC, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces.

            Teresa was preceded in death by her husband Roderick (Rod) Alan Gill and her parents Gerald Rudolph Wood and Norma Gray (Lucas) Wood.

            Teresa’s memorial is planned for October 8th at 11:00 AM at her church, Pleasant Grove Original Free Will Baptist, in Dunn NC (290 Red Hill Church Road, 28334). Officiating will be her pastor, Phil Lewis.
