Retha Cobb Noles

Retha Cobb Noles, 95, of Benson, went to be with her Heavenly Father early Monday, April 15, 2024 with her loving family by her side. 

A funeral service will be held at West & Dunn Funeral Home of Benson on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 6:00 pm. Visitation will be held an hour prior from 5:00-6:00 pm.

 She was a loving wife to her husband, Mel and a loving mother to her son, Ken. Retha was an active member of Elevation Methodist Church and was a member of the choir for many years.

Retha is preceded in death by her parents, David Everett Cobb and Alice Ethel Morgan Cobb; her loving husband, Melvin Noles; a sister, Betty Cobb Godwin; and nephews, Travis Godwin and Joey Cobb.

She is survived by her son, Ken and his wife Betty Rose of Benson; brother, Earl Cobb of Benson; niece, Sue Godwin of Benson; nephews, Ronnie Cobb and Max Godwin, both of Benson; great-nephews, Dustin Cobb and Anthony Cobb.

 In lieu of flowers, donations to Elevation Methodist Church at 5101 Elevation Road, Benson, NC 27504 are welcome and appreciated.
