Saturday, September 3rd, 2022 at 9:21 am Oliver Lee Harris was born sleeping in the loving
arms of Jesus, at Duke Regional Hospital, Durham NC. Oliver was surrounded by so much love
and his parents Cassie Kernodle and Joel Harris and his Grandparents Tammy and Arnold George.
Oliver weighed twelve ounces and was ten and a half inches long. Oliver was the perfect
mixture of his Mama and Daddy. He had his daddy’s handsome face, with mama's eyes and
button nose. He had daddy’s long legs and hands, thighs and shoulders of a future linebacker. He had his mama's feet and toes.
Oliver was preceded in Death by his maternal Grandfather Bobby Dailey “Dale “ Kernodle, both
of his maternal and paternal great grandparents, Carl and Vara Wise & John and Lousie Kernodle.
Oliver leaves behind his mama and daddy, Cassie Lorraine Kernodle & Joel Lee Harris, along
with his two furry siblings Theo and Pepper. ( Cary NC) Maternal grandparents Tammy
Kernodle George and Arnold George ( Benson ) his Paternal Grandparents Tammy and Eric
Harris. ( Leland NC ) His Maternal great grandmother Bonnie “ Nanny” Atkinson, and his Great Aunt
Peggy Hewlett. ( Wilmington NC) His Paternal Great grandparents Gary and Marsha Harris. (
Mebane NC ) His Maternal Auntie Courtney Kernodle-Parton and his Uncle Cody,( Four Oaks
NC ) His Paternal Uncle Jacob Harris and His Aunt Grace Barnes Harris. ( Leland NC)
He also leaves behind many special great aunts and uncles, cousins, and family friends.
The Family is planning a private Interment at the Family’s Private cemetery, “The Kernodle Cemetery” located at 2035 Juniper Church Road Four Oaks NC. 27524
Cassie and Joel are accepting visitors at the home of Oliver’s Grandparents Tammy and Arnold George 1155 Surles Road Benson N.C.
