Nannie Grey (Edwards) Westbrook

Ms. Nannie Grey Westbrook, age 80 of Newton Grove passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021 at WakeMed Health & Hospitals, Raleigh, N.C. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 11th at 2:00 p.m. at Roanoke Chapel Church. The family will receive family and friends Thursday March 11th from 1 till 2 p.m. at the church prior to the service. She will lay in state on Thursday, March 11th from 9:00 till 11:45 a.m. at West & Dunn Funeral Home with no family present during this time. The Revs. Robbie Gilbert and Jerome Edwards will officiate the service. 

Left to cherish her memories are her children; Shanna Lewis of Newton Grove, Jennie Newsome and husband Terry of Georgia and Shon Westbrook of Clinton. Grandchildren; Brent Lewis, Tina Tew and husband Brian, Tara Whitted and husband Kane, T.J. Newsome and Kyle Newsome. Great Grandchildren; Isaiah, Eli, Logan and Vanna. Sisters; Jean Johnson, Earline Vann and Bonnie Giddens. Brothers; M.B. Edwards and Layton Edwards. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; Johan B. and Lula C. Edwards, husband; Donald Allen Westbrook and brothers; Larry Edwards and Russell Edwards.
