Mary "Berneice" (Daughtry) Godwin

Mary Berneice Godwin, 94, of Newton Grove passed away Thursday, January 18th with her family by her side. Mrs. Godwin's funeral service will be Monday, January 22nd at 5 p.m. at Oak Grove FWB Church in Newton Grove. Burial will be Tuesday, January 23rd at 11:00 a.m, in Warren Oak Grove Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 22nd from 4 till 5 p.m. at the church prior to the service. 

Mrs. Godwin is survived by her daughter Mary Ethel Britt (Maurice Stanley) of Newton Grove, sons William David Godwin, Philip Godwin and wife Diane, Charles Godwin and fiancee' Myra Britt all of Newton Grove. Grandchildren Kirk Godwin and Tabitha Parker, Carson Godwin, Allen Britt and Christina Corbett and husband Steven. Great Grandchildren Logan Godwin and Ace Godwin. Sister Helen Finch of Wilson, NC. 

Mrs. Godwin was preceded in death by her husband C.I. Godwin, parents William Rozier and Emma Langston Daughtry. Siblings Muriel Blanchard, Jean Ray, Earle Lee Atkins and Donald Daughtry. Also, left to cherish her memory are several nieces and nephews. 

In lieu of flowers the family requested Memorials be made to Oak Grove FWB Church PO Box 389, Newton Grove, N.C.  28366
