Larry Olivio Baker

Larry Olivio Baker, 80, of Coats passed away Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Rex Healthcare center. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday March 17, at Hodges Chapel Church Cemetery, Benson. 

The family will receive friends at West and Dunn Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 from 6 to 8 pm.

Survivors of Mr. baker include his wife of 56 years; Velma Christine Baker, children; Tammy Wall and husband Robert of Willow Springs, Michelle Maynor and husband James of Jacksonville, Larry Keith Baker and wife Beth of Coats, Terry Baker of Coats, Sonja Martinez and husband Roger of Wendell, Jamie Baker and wife Amy of Erwin, grandchildren; Justin Gardner, Anthony Maynor, Matthew Maynor, Lauren Edwards, Megan Wardell, Alison Decker, Zachery McCauley, Austin McCauley, Tara Baker, Brian Baker, Bohdi Presley, Jeanna Presley, Lillie Baker, Layne Baker and Landon Baker, great grandchildren; 9. sisters; Faye Arnold and husband Roger, Betty Ashworth, and Carolyn Matthews, brother; Jerry Baker and wife Elaine.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; Joab and Vida Baker, son; Scott Daniel Baker, brothers; Perry, Gary, Joe, Preston and Sherrill Baker, sisters; Kathleen Tedder, Becky Tew, Elizabeth Arnold and Eva Thomas.

If Mr. Baker would have lived 1 more day he would have celebrated his 57th wedding anniversary.

In light of the recent restrictions due to the Coronavirus, the family understands if you can't join them for the visitation. If you attend please wear a mask at all services and observe social distancing. Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated.
