Born in Texas, Kathy grew up in South Onondaga, NY. She is predeceased by her parents, Stanley J. Ashmus, Sr. and Mary Ashmus, S. Onondaga, NY; brother, Stanley J. Ashmus, S. Onondaga, NY; sister, Louise Fancett, Syracuse, NY; and son, Robert J. Nash, Tully, NY. She is survived by her devoted husband, Louis Altomer, Coats, NC; daughters, Diane (David) Ireland, Deborah (James) Davis, Ann (Donald) Dorward, of NC; and son, James Branagan, NY; and ten Grandchildren, eleven Great Grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Private Services with burial @ St. Patrick's Cemetery, Otisco, NY.
Ms. Altomer will have a private memorial service at West & Dunn Funeral Home in Benson on Thursday, April 23, 2020 @ 4:00 pm. Rev. Michael Bassett will be officiating the service.
