Junior Calvin West

Junior Calvin West, 91, of Rocky Point, NC passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024 at Novant Pender Medical Center in Burgaw, NC.

 
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024 from 2:00PM-2:45PM at West & Dunn Funeral Home of Benson with a graveside service to follow at Hodges Chapel Church Cemetery of Dunn. Rev. Randy Beasley will be officiating the service.

 
He is preceded in death by his wife; Melba Grey West, father; Wiley Festus West, mother; Lessie Mae West, son-in-law; Thomas Rea Wilson and several sisters and brothers.  
He is survived by his daughter; Kathy Wilson of Rocky Point, sister; Katie Parker of Winston Salem, sister-in-law Carolyn Hill and husband Harvey of Benson.  

Junior was a humble man who loved his family and enjoyed outdoors and bluegrass music. His number one passion was truck driving. He also loved his special Turtlette.
