Mr. Jerry Walter Strickland, 80, of Newton Grove passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024. His funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 30th at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of West & Dunn Funeral Home, Newton Grove. The family will greet family and friend’s Monday, April 29th from 7 – 9 p.m. at West & Dunn Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in Hillcrest Cemetery, Newton Grove following his service. Officiating will be Pastors Gills, Jeff Hayes and Greg Tart.
Left to cherish his memories are, Ms. Donnie Knowles, the love of his life for 55 ½ years. Stepdaughters, Jan Knowles, and Ann Harris of Newton Grove. Step grandson, Joey Hairr, Newton Grove and step great grandson, Ethan Hairr, also of Newton Grove. His beloved Fur Baby, Little Girl. He was loved by many friends and cousins. Always willing to help, very caring, giving back and loved all animals.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Elenor Warren Strickland. His sister Judy Strickland and his stepson William “Bud” Knowles.
