Iona Champion

Iona Roberts Champion, 89 of Dunn, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018. Ms. Champion's funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 beginning at 11:00 am at West and Dunn Funeral Home Chapel of Erwin, NC. Rev. Tim Rice will be officiating the service. Ms. Champion's burial will take place at Erwin Memorial Park of Erwin, NC.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 20 at West and Dunn Funeral Home of Erwin. 

Ms. Champion is survived by her daughter, Vickie Champion of Dunn, her son Lanny Champion of Dunn, honorary daughter, Gail Wood of Coats, grandchildren, Shannon Bryant of Lillington, Richard Champion and wife Dixie of Erwin, Steven Champion and wife Paula of Erwin, Meredith Gazlay of Benson, Danny Williams Jr. and wife Claudine of Anchorage, Alaska, and thirteen great grandchildren.

Ms. Champion is preceded in death by her parents, Dallas and Bessie Roberts, her husband, Homer Champion, and a great grandchild, Robby Bryant.
