Imogene (Collins) Barbour

Imogene Collins Barbour, 81, of Four Oaks, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, Nov. 5, 2021.

She is survived by daughter Sherri McLamb and husband Freddie of Roseboro; sons, Kevin Hare and Randy Hare of Princeton; sister Nellie Ratley and husband Rudolph of Marion, SC; brothers, Marvin Collins and wife Becky  of Marion, SC and Jimmy Collins wife Bilen of the Philipines.

Imogene is predeceased by her parents, Kemp and Marie Collins, sisters Flora Huntley, Claire Mae Sarvis, and Lavern Collins; brothers Roy Collins, Willie Collins, and Buster Collins.

Imogene loved to fish and travel to the mountains.  She loved working in her garden and teaching her children, especially in the last six years when she worked with autistic children; she enjoyed her shopping trips with her daughter and going out to eat with her family.

Funeral services for Imogene will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021 at 2:00pm at the West and Dunn Funeral Home Chapel in Benson.  A visitation will be held from 1:00-1:45pm prior to the service.  Burial will follow at Barbour’s Chapel Advent Christian Cemetery in Four Oaks.
