Gertie Ellen (McLamb) Bass

Ms. Gertie M. Bass, 89, of Dunn passed away Friday, October 4, 2019. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, October 7, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Robert's Grove Freewill Baptist Church, Dunn, N.C. The family will receive family and friends at the church from 2 till 3 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Officiating will be the Rev. Ricky Warren and Rev. Paul Conley. Ms. Bass will be laid to rest in the church cemetery. 

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter; Sue Grantham and husband Bob of Salemburg, sons: Gene Bass and wife Sherry of Four Oaks and Gary Bass and wife Angie of Dunn. She also leaves seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, sisters; Catherine Jackson, Pearl Pope and Judy Tudor all of Dunn and a brother; L. E. McLamb of Dunn. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; David L. and Lizzie L. McLamb and her husband; Marvin Bass.
