Emma Jean Guy Rayfield, age 67 of Mt. Olive, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Wayne UNC Healthcare, Goldsboro, N.C. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons: James Michael Guy of Mt. Olive and Joshua Lee Rayfield of Chicago, Ill., grandchildren; Kaylee Rose Whitley, Channa J. Guy, Jayla N. Guy, siblings; Marshall Joseph Guy and wife Linda, Josephine G. Futrell and Robert Guy and wife Peggy Sue., Sister-in-law; Donna Guy, brother-in-law; Everette Wise and several special nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Marshall James and Martha Harrell Guy, husband; James Rayfield, brothers; David Earl Guy and Bobby Ray Futrell, half sisters; Gladys Wise, Mary Lou Futrell, Maggie Darden, Ava McCullen and Elmer Thornton and a half brother; John William Guy.
