Dan Whitfield Best

Mr. Dan W. Best, age 76 of Faison passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Lower Cape Fear Lifecare, Wilmington, N.C. with his loving family by his side. His graveside service will be held Friday, December 17th at Blackman's Grove Baptist Church, Four Oaks beginning at 2 p.m. Rev. Stanley King will officiate. 

Left to cherish his memories are his children: Kim Johnson and husband Bobby of Four Oaks, Dana Wise and husband Wayne of Dunn and Robin Norris and husband Shawn of Angier. Grandchildren: Layne Wise, Colton Wise, Ana Norris and Ashton Norris. Sister: Dean King of Faison. 

Mr. Best was preceded in death by his parents: Brazil and Nora J. Best, wife: Ann W. Best, brother: Jerry Keith Best and his sister: Edith Hunter.
