Obituary
Mr. Cleo Bledsoe, 86 of Erwin, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, surrounded by his loving family by his side. Cleo had a love for horses and a passion for music and played guitar in a gospel band for many years.
A funeral service to honor Cleo’s memory will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022, at Erwin United Methodist Church beginning at 2:00 pm. Pastor Won will be officiating the service. Interment to follow at Erwin Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at Erwin United Methodist Church one hour prior to the service.
Cleo is survived by his daughter, Debbie Lorren and husband Stanley, brother, Joe Patrick Bledsoe and wife Hilda, grandchildren, Lorie Hales (Ashley), Kim Williams (Brian), and Daniel Graves, great-grandchildren, Daughtry, Carter, Bailey, Sawyer Hales, Patrick, Braedon, Whitley Williams and Avery Lee, many nieces and nephews and dear friends Harold Wilson, Mitchell Spivey, and Larry Herring.
Cleo is predeceased by his parents, Joe and Beulah Bledsoe, son, Darrell Lynn Bledsoe, sisters Gladys Pope and Luddie Mae Bledsoe, and brother Kenneth Buddy Bledsoe.
Services have been entrusted to West and Dunn Funeral Home of Erwin.
