Clancey R. (Barefoot) Strickland

Clancey Roberta (Barefoot) Strickland, age 50 of Harper House Road, Newton Grove, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022. Her funeral service will be held Saturday, April 9th at Unity Presbyterian Church, Newton Grove beginning at 5:30 p.m. The family will receive family and friends at the church beginning at 4 p.m. She will be laid to rest in the church cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Cathy Mooney. The family will gather at Jason & Brandie's home, 9082 Harper House Road, Newton Road at 2 p.m. prior to the visitation at the church.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons: Garrett and Hawk Strickland, their father: William Strickland, all of Newton Grove. Brother: Jason Barefoot and wife Brandie of Newton Grove and niece Cassidy of Hawaii. Also, left to cherish her memories are Aunt and Uncle, Judy & Lennis Lee, Aunt: Laura Eldridge, Aunts: Charlotte Hudson, Myra (Doll) Tart, Brenda & Jimmy Carr. Uncles: Tony Parker & Bill Parker. Also are many cousins and a very special Thank You to her cousins: Stephanie and Ronnie Moore for all their love and support.

 She was preceded by: Parents: Bruce & Debbie Barefoot, her paternal grandparents: Alonzo and Lois Barefoot and her maternal grandparents: William (Billy) and Janice Parker.

 Clancey has touched the lives of so many with her unconditional love, generosity and kindness. Her pride and joy were her boys and her family. She was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and loved a great sunset. Her beautiful smile, that would light up any room, will definitely be missed.
