Betty Smith Obituary
Mrs. Betty Jo Smith, age 81 of Hwy. 701 South, Newton Grove, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 in WakeMed Health and Hospital of Raleigh. Her graveside service will be held Sunday, December 20, 2020 at 2 p.m. in Hillcrest Cemetery, Newton Grove. Rev. Cathy Mooney will officiate the service.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Glenn H. Smith of the home, daughters, Wendy Mink and husband Mitchell of Newton Grove, Mary Allred and husband Ted, Jr., of Florence S.C., grandchildren, Lauren Allred, Kaitlyn Allred, Teddy Allred and wife Cristin and Keith Griffin and Meagan Claypoole. Great Grandchildren, Kayden, Olivia, Blakely and Owen, brother, Tom Westbrook and wife Vicky of Myrtle Beach, S.C.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthus Timothy and Maude Estelle Westbrook.
Mrs. Smith will lay in state at West & Dunn Funeral Home, Newton Grove on Saturday, December 19th from 1 till 4 p.m. for viewing and you may sign the register book. The family will not be present during this time.
