Larry Raeford Baker

Larry Raeford Baker, 71, of Four Oaks passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2019, at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield surrounded by his family.  Mr. Baker's funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2019, at 3:00 pm at Beulah Hill Christian Church in Four Oaks.  The Rev. Sam Blackman will be officiating the service.  The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday, April 7 from 2 to 3 pm.  Mr. Baker will be laid to rest in the Four Oaks Cemetery in Four Oaks.

Mr. Baker's survivors include his son, Larry “BO” Baker III and wife Wendy of Four Oaks; his daughter, Monica Johnson and husband Tony of Coats; grandchildren, Colton, Morgan, Marshall, Madison and Jennifer Weaver and husband Steven; great-grandchildren, Dawson, Kelsea, Melbiann, and Coralee; brothers, Earl Baker of Archdale and Jerry Baker and wife Gail of Micro; sisters, Gray Conrad of Winston Salem, Jean Messer of Benson, Patricia Brown and husband Frank of Four Oaks and Deborah House and husband Frankie of Micro; several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Baker was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Baker; his son, Larry Baker, Jr.; parents, Clee and Clara Baker; brothers, Sherwood and Bruce Baker; sisters, Joyce, Dorothy, Virginia.

Services have been entrusted to West & Dunn Funeral Home of Benson, North Carolina.
