Jean Parker

Ms. Jean Baker Parker, 87, of Benson passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 11:00 am at Hoods Grove Baptist Church, Newton Grove. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Bill West. Interment will follow in Hoods Grove Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church after the graveside service.

Survivors of Ms. Parker include daughters, Jeanne P. Hayes of Benson; Brenda P. Dean and Harold of Broadway; Connie Lassiter and Travis of Four Oaks; sons, James Parker and Pat of Benson; Wayne Parker of Benson; sisters, Florence Walker of Fayetteville; Virginia Wallace of Albertson; eleven grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. 

Ms. Parker is preceded in death by husband, Edward Parker, parents, Neil and Spicey Baker, great-grandson, jonathan Norris, sisters, Iula Raynor, Ada Lee, Anna Almendarez, Eloise Starcher, Helen Canady, brothers, Ellis Baker, Theron Baker, Joe Baker, Neil Baker, Jr.,and Jessie Baker.
