Mr. Willie Ray Davis age 79, of the Grantham Community passed away Monday, July 12. 2021 at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville. His funeral service will be held Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of West & Dunn Funeral Home, Newton Grove. The family will receive family and friends at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the funeral service. Mr. Davis will be laid to rest in the Selah Christian Church Cemetery, Four Oaks, N.C.
Left to cherish his memories are his children; Keith Davis and wife Sandra, Angie Underwood and Tammy Davis, all of Grantham. Grandchildren; Taylor Thornton, Morgan Giddens and husband Tyler, Candace Tucker and Kelsi Cansler and husband Allen. Great grandchild; Nolan Giddens. Brother; Robert Davis and wife Joyce of Mt. Olive. Sister: Shirley Lewis of Portsmouth, Va.and special friends; Elgie Howell of Goldsboro and Joe Scarcipino of Mt. Olive.
He was preceded in death by his parents; James Walter and Mamie Howell Davis, wife: Annie Davis, granddaughter; Brittany Thornton, sisters; Joyce McCullen and Brenda Bradshaw, sons-in-law: Melvin Tucker, Jr. and David Underwood.
