Frances Elouise (Harris) Merritt

Ms. Frances E. Merritt, age 82 of Newton Grove, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2020 at her residence with her family by her side. Her funeral service will be held Sunday, September 13, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hopewell United Methodist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Gregg Presnal. She will be laid to rest in the Merritt Family Cemetery, Newton Grove. 

She is preceded in death by her parents: James Hardy and Hermie Elouise Harris, husband; William Harold Merritt, sister; Joyce McLamb and brothers; James Robert Harris and Jackie Harris. 

In light of the recent restrictions due to CoVid -19,  the family understands if you are not able to join them for the funeral services. If you attend please consider wearing a mask and observing social distancing. Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated.
