Wilbur Rudolf Strickland

Wilbur Rudolf Strickland, 88, of Newton Grove, passed away Friday, December 24, 2021.

Wilbur is survived by his sons Jerry Rudolph Strickland (Jackie Mahle) of Dunn and Hugh Craig Strickland (Donna) of Dunn; sister Shelby Jean Denning of Dunn; step-daughter Rose Anderson (Ray) of Newton Grove; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and special friend Martha S. Taylor of Newton Grove

He was predeceased by his parents, Wilburt and Lousie Strickland; his first wife, Norma Ann Strickland; his second wife, Edna Westbrook Strickland; his daughter, Patricia Strickland Palama; his granddaughter, Lynn Marie Strickland; and four sisters, Catherine Strickland, Ann Lee, Margaret Coates, and Ette Mae Leber.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 28 at 2:00 PM at Randall’s  Chapel PFWB Church. A visitation will be held prior to the service at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow services at Reedy Prong Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
