Walter "Walt" Lee Benson

Walt Benson, 85, of Four Oaks, passed away on March 31, 2023, in his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Walt is survived by his sister, Deborah Norris, and husband, Danny of Four Oaks; his brother, Dean Benson, and wife, Karen, of Princeton; daughter, Sherry Allen, and husband, Keith, of Four Oaks; daughter, Sandy Reichman, and husband, Don, of Ohio; son, Lee Benson, and wife, Michelle, of Four Oaks; grandchildren, Dennis Allen, and wife, Crystal, Travis Allen, Ashley Wolff, and husband, John, Tyler Benson, and wife, Erin, Steven Reichman, and wife, Kate, and Thomas Reichman; and great-grandchildren, Jadon Brown, Dalton Allen, Lily Allen, Shelby Allen, Tori Justice, Gabriel Wolff, Elias Wolff, Ezekiel Wolff, Violet Benson, Ruby Benson, and Joanna Reichman; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 2 from 6:00 pm -8:00 pm at West and Dunn Funeral Home in Benson.  A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 3 at 2:00 pm in the Sanders Family Cemetery in Four Oaks, NC.  

Walt was a "cowboy at heart."  The family requests those friends and family that plan on attending the service to wear jeans and your favorite western wear in honor and as a tribute to Walt
