W C Massengill

Mr. W C Massengill, age 90, of Benson formerly of Four Oaks, passed away surrounded by his loving family at his residence on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at 1:00 pm at Faith Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, Four Oaks. Rev. Mark Fields will be officiating the service.

He will lay in state at Faith Free Will Baptist Church with no family present from 10 am to 12 pm.

He is survived by his loving wife Amelia Grace Massengill whom he was married to for 68 years. daughters, Amelia McLeod (Jody) of Clayton; Amanda Lee (Joe Dan) of Benson; Robin Daughtry (Shane) of Four Oaks; grandchildren, Coty Lewis, Ethan Daughtry, Cameron Lewis, Gracie Lee, Bailey Daughtry, and Alexa Knight, great-grandchildren, Annie and Claire Knight, Lyndy Lewis, sister, Linda Tart, several nieces, and nephews.

Mr. Massengill was preceded in death by his parents; Edgar Albert Massengill and Maude Dunn Massengill, sisters; Aleene Lassiter, Gladys Royal, Betty Lou Miller, brothers; Leroy Massengill, Larry Massengill, and Jerry Massengill.
