Vibra Jean (Warren) Herring

Ms. Vibra Jean Warren Herring, 89, of NC Hwy 55, Dunn, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at her residence. 

Vibra’s graveside service will be Friday, September 6, 2024 at Maple Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Dunn, N.C. beginning at 11:00 a.m. Speaking will be Curtis Warren.

 
Ms. Vibra was a very fashionable lady. She always matched in anything she wore, from her shoes to her jewelry. She was a woman of God and could be a force to reckon with. Vibra was the oldest of 17 children and all of her life she raised children always putting them first. She would tell it like it was with her honest opinion. She could do anything she wanted to do and could take nothing and make something out of it. At 3 years of age she would stand on a stool to make homemade biscuits. Again, always putting family first. 

She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, David E. Herring, her parents, Shelton T. Warren and Ann Ruth Warren. Her son, Ricky Herring. Siblings, Laurel (Nell) Fralick, Judy Warren, Jerry Warren, Ronnie Warren and 3 toddlers. 
Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Debra Ann Herring of Dunn, Donna Herring Barefoot of Newton Grove and Amy Herring Johnson and husband Mark of Four Oaks. Grandchildren Cole Thornton, Aaron Barefoot, Ross Barefoot, Megan Barefoot Stewart, Damion Herring, Caleb Barefoot and Marie Barefoot. She is also loved by nine great grandchildren.
