Tommy Edward Moore

Tommy Edward Moore, 68, of Four Oaks, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Julius Edward Moore and Juanita Ann Beasley Moore; brothers, William Edward Moore and Danny Wayne Moore; sister, Virginia Capps; niece, Tonya Allen and a nephew, Jonathan Barefoot.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Dunn Funeral Home of Benson with a graveside service to follow at Bethel Cemetery in Four Oaks at 3:00 PM.

He is survived and loved by his wife of 50 years, Patricia Moore of Dunn; daughter, Patricia Hall (Corey Spivey) of Four Oaks; sons, Bernice Moore (Amelia) of Four Oaks and Tommy Wayne Moore of Meadow; sister, Frances Allan of Four Oaks and two grandchildren, as well as a special friend, William Hall. 

He is also loved by many nieces and nephews. 

Tommy was a jokester, he loved to carry on and to good-naturedly pick on people. He loved making people laugh. Tommy had a positive attitude, and even in the hardest of times, he was able to persevere through and would not let anything get him down. His strength was one of his many great qualities and he would do anything to help you. Tommy loved his family most of all.

He was loved and will be greatly missed.
