Thomas Rea Wilson

Thomas Rea Wilson, 72, of Rocky Point, NC passed away on October 20, 2023 at New Hanover Regional Hospital in Wilmington. 
 

A graveside service will be held at Hodges Chapel Church Cemetery of Benson on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 2:00 pm. Pastor Randy Beasley will be officiating the service.
 

He is preceded in death by his father, Talmadge Rea Wilson, mother, Elizabeth Allen Wilson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Kathy Wilson of Rocky Point, NC. Sisters, Martha Luce (Jon) of Lakeland FL., Liz Fowler (John) of Boone NC., and brother David Wilson of Wilmington NC., father-in-law, Junior C. West of Wilmington, NC. Thomas is also loved by many nieces and nephews.  

Thomas enjoyed fishing on the pier, if he could, he would have stayed there night and day if Kathy would let him. He enjoyed gardening and the outdoors. He loved feeding the birds, and would make sure his birds were fed every day.
