Thomas Wayne Goodman

Thomas Goodman, age 74, of Benson, passed away on January 22, 2026, at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield.

Born on September 26, 1951 in Harnett County to the late Haywood Goodman and Lily May Stone. Thomas is survived by his devoted companion of 20 years, Billie Neal; and brothers; Rayvon Goodman and Leon Goodman.

Thomas could be found at a pond fishing in his free time. He enjoyed to spend time with his Uncle Derwood down at the beach fishing and camping out in the RV. Thomas had three fur babies that he enjoyed the presence of; Little Bit, Daisy, and Athena.

Thomas was known for his humbleness, he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at Dunn Funeral Home of Benson on January 27th at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Stone Family Cemetery in Coats.
