Susan Elaine (Farmer) Gilleland

Susan F. Gilleland, 71 of Raleigh, formerly of Sampson County, passed away at her home on January 1, 2021. Susan's Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Mt. Elam Baptist Church Cemetery of Roseboro beginning at 3:00 p.m.  The Rev. John Harper will officiate the service. 

Friends may come visit on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at West and Dunn Funeral Home of Newton Grove, family will not be present. 

Susan is survived by her son, Charles Lee Gilleland and wife Kristi of Pace, Florida, granddaughters, Mckenzie and Meredith Gilleland, brother, C.F. Farmer and wife Carol of Raleigh. Susan is preceded in death by her parents, Claxton Farmer and wife Elizabeth.

Susan lived most of her life in Sampson County, but the last 13 years have been spent in Raleigh, NC. 

Services have been entrusted to West and Dunn Funeral Home of Newton Grove, NC.
