Mr. Steven Michael Hinnant, 51 of Erwin, formerly of Nahunta, NC, passed away on May 17, 2020 at Duke Hospital of Durham. Mr. Hinnant is survived by his son, Michael Thomas Hinnant of Grantham, daughter, Emily Cook and husband Zack of Palm Bay, Florida, nephews, Hunter Carter and James Grady, sisters, Phyllis Terry and husband John of VA, Cathy Annelia of Tennessee, Rhonda Carter and Garrett of Goldsboro, brothers, Jimmy Hinnant of Sanford and Billy Joe Hinnant of Colorado, aunt and uncles, JoAnn and Randy Parrish and George Long, cousins, Candy Howard, Randy Parrish, Andy Parrish, Robert Harris, Jimmy Hinnant, Allen Hinnant, Tiffany Hinnant, Matthew Long and George Long Jr., extra care givers, Thomas Wilson Carr and Edna Carr.

Mr. Hinnant is preceded in death by his parents, James and Margaret Hinnant.
