Shirley Elizabeth (Allen) Adams

Shirley Allen Adams, 85, passed away on May 18, 2024 at Senior Village Center in Dunn, NC.

She was born on June 19, 1938 to the late Jesse B. Allen and Mary Ellen McLamb Allen. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Rayford Adams; brother, Jesse Verlon Allen; and sister in law, Rosalea Allen.

She is survived and loved by, son, Travis Adams and wife Flor of Four Oaks; grandson, Daniel Adams and wife Rachel Nash of Garner; Sisters, Linda Sue Dawson and husband Don of Boiling Springs, South Carolina and Alice Marie Raynor and husband Wendell of Dunn; Brother, Jerry Edward Allen of Dunn; and sister in law, Julia Sue Allen of Dunn.

Visitation will be held at West & Dunn Funeral Home of Benson on Friday, May 24, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 11:00 am in the West & Dunn Funeral Home of Benson Chapel.

Mrs. Shirley was a beloved woman by those who knew her. She was a loving and hard working person who enjoying cooking for others and caring for those around her. She loved animals, especially cats, dogs and hummingbirds. She worked hard on the farm and took care of her household. She was a truly loved woman, and she will be missed.
