Rudolph Jackson

Rudolph Jackson, age 98 of Erwin, passed away on August 5th, 2025 surrounded by family. He was born on January 24, 1927 to the late Marvin Jerome Jackson and Ellie Lucas Jackson, and was raised on the same farm where he resided in Erwin, NC. 

A lifelong Erwin farmer, Rudolph will be remembered fondly by locals for selling pumpkins and collards each Fall.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Emily Messer Jackson.

Rudolph is survived by his children,son, Michael Sr. (wife Nancy) and daughter, Phyllis, as well as his grandchildren, Michael Jr. (wife Sariah) and Melinda. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Ryder and Isaiah, as well as his closest friend, Aileen Smith. 

He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Services include a visitation tomorrow, Thursday, August 7, 2025 at 10:00 am at the St. Matthew PFWB Church in Erwin. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at the church and then burial at the Erwin Memorial Park Cemetery.
