Roger "Dean" Raynor

Roger “Dean” Raynor, 65, of Wallace, NC, died on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at his home.

He was born on July 13, 1959 in Dunn, NC to the late Glenn O’Dell and Helen Louise Baker Raynor.  He enlisted in the United States Army after high school and then married the love of his life, Kathy in 1977. They raised three children together, Lisa, Jonie and Katie. Dean attended Universal Life Church and later earned his credentials of ministry. He was always a hardworking man, working for himself as a carpenter, and as a preacher. He was an avid hunter, and also loved participating in church activities or spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.

Dean leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 45 years, Kathy; three daughters: Lisa, Jonie and Katie; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A Private Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held at Dunn Funeral Home in Benson on Friday, March 14th, for the family only.
