Robert Gerald Williams

Robert Gerald Williams, age 47, of Erwin passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Saturday, April 25th, 2026.

He was born on September 27, 1978 in Harnett County, NC to parents Carrie Bradshaw Williams and the late Owen Gerald Williams.

As a profession, Robert worked on large heating system boilers.  As a hobby, he enjoyed working on cars, lawnmowers, and do small engine repair.  He was an avid eater and enjoyed most all foods but his favorites included homemade soup, spaghetti, and food cooked on the grill.  His foods were usually hot, spicy, or salty. And all of his life he loved animals, especially his kitty cats and precious pups.

In addition to his father, Robert is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Gerard Williams; also his grandparents, Grady and Shirley Williams and Leroy and Murttie Bradshaw.

Survivors remaining to cherish his memory are his children, son Robert Gerald Williams Jr. and daughter, Madison Michelle Lynn Williams.  Grandchildren: Greyson Cole Tyndall and Ryleigh Danielle Williams. Nephew, Owen Griffin Williams and niece, Harley Nicole Williams, and great nephews, Grayson Williams and Gunner Ellis.  Also, sister-in-law Melissa Williams;  and his girlfriend, Mary Parrish of the home and her son, Brandon Norris. 

Robert was very loved and will be greatly missed.  But he is with his brother again now.

Services will be held on Thursday, April 30th, 2026 at the Dunn Funeral Home of Erwin located at 904 Lucas Street, Erwin, NC.  Visitation will begin at 3:00 pm, Funeral at 4:00 pm, with burial following the service at Erwin Memorial Park Cemetery at S. 18th Street in Erwin.
