Mildred JoAnn (Stephenson) Hargrove

JoAnn Hargrove was called home by her Lord and Savior on December 16, 2022. JoAnn was born July 8, 1936, in Erwin, North Carolina to Mildred and Howard Stephenson. She was the youngest of seven siblings.

JoAnn's greatest joys were her husband, children, grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. Inseparable until the end, she is survived by her husband of sixty-eight years, Burnice Clifford Hargrove, and her Charlie dog. JoAnn and Clifford were truly one of the great romances of all time.

In addition to several grandchildren (Neil Bonestell, Emily Hargrove) and one great-grandchild (Aiden Bonestell), JoAnn leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Jennifer Hargrove Bonestell (Kyle Bonestell) of Raleigh NC, and her son Gordon Clifford Hargrove (Sherry Hargrove) of Garner NC.

JoAnn lived and loved greatly. JoAnn did it her way. She will be missed. 

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Erwin Memorial Park beginning at 2:00 pm.
