Melba Gray West

Ms. Melba Gray West, age 85 of Rocky Point, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 2:00 pm at West & Dunn Funeral Home, Benson. Officiating the service will be Rev. Randy Beasley. Interment will follow in the Hodges Chapel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery of Benson. 

The family will receive family and friends at the funeral home Saturday, August 15, from 1 till 2 p.m.

Ms. West will lay in state at the funeral home on Friday, August 14, 2020 from 2 till 5 p.m.

Survivors of Ms. West include her husband; Junior West of Rocky Point, daughter; Kathy Gail Wilson and husband Thomas of Rocky Point, sister; Carolyn and husband Harvey Hill of Benson, brother; Willie Glenn Hall of Benson, several nieces and nephews.

Ms. West is preceded in death by parents; Willie Braston Hall and Sarah Ellen Hall, brothers; Larry B. Hall and Danny Harold Hall.
