Maxine (Smith) Benson

Maxine Benson, 80 of Four Oaks, passed away on April 9, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, beginning at 3:00 pm at Sanders Family Cemetery of Gum Swamp Road in Four Oaks.  Rev. Brian Beasley will be officiating.

Maxine is survived by her husband, Walter Lee Benson of Four Oaks, sister, Mahaley Souza and husband Bob of Goldsboro, daughter, Sherry Allen and husband Keith of Four Oaks, daughter, Sandy Reichman and husband Don of Ohio, son, Lee Benson and wife Michelle of Four Oaks, grandchildren, Dennis Allen and wife Crystal, Travis Allen and wife Renee, Ashley Wolff and husband John, Tyler Benson and wife Erin, Steven Reichman and wife Kate, Thomas Reichman. Maxine also is survived by her great-grandchildren, Jadon Brown, Dalton Allen, Lily Allen, Tori Justice, Shelby Allen, Gabriel Wolff, Elias Wolff, Ezekiel Wolff, Violet Benson, Ruby Benson, and Joanna Reichman.

The family will receive friends at West and Dunn Funeral Home of Benson on Monday, April 11, 2022, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
