Mary Britt Obituary

Ms. Mary Jean Britt, age 85 of Newton Grove, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at SECU Hospice House, Smithfield. Her graveside service will be held Sunday, January 10th at 2 p.m. Her service will be held at Hopewell United Methodist Church Cemetery, Newton Grove with the Rev. Freddy Langston officiating.

Left to cherish her memories are her children; Barbara Twigg and husband Ronnie of Smithfield, Jerry McLamb and Terry McLamb both of Newton Grove. Grandchildren; Ashley Wade, Amber Twigg and Brandon McLamb. Great Grandchildren: Carlie, Connor, Brax and Waylon. Sister; Lillian Godwin of Newton Grove.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Brook and Lucy Langston, her husbands; Roland Gene McLamb and Ray Britt and a brother; Bob Langston.

We ask in order to stay in compliance with North Carolina State COVID law that social distancing measures be taken and a mask must be worn at all times during all services.
