Mary Moore Byrd, 86 of Dunn, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Harnett Central Hospital of Lillington. Mary is survived by her son, Phil Byrd of Benson, daughter, Donna Wood, and husband Dale of Four Oaks, grandchildren, Kevin Byrd, Melissa Ball, Kasie Lee, and Patrick Wood, 6 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Mary is predeceased by her husband, David A. Byrd, Jr., brothers, Prentis Moore, John Thurman Moore, Shelton Moore, Gardner Moore, and baby brother Moore., sister, Leontine Allen.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Erwin Memorial Park beginning at 11:00 am.
Memorials may be made to Red Hill Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital
