Marion Renee (Houston) Wood

Marion Renee Wood, age 66, of Dunn, passed away on October 14, 2025 at Betsy Johnson Hospital after a cancer diagnosis.  She was born on August 8, 1959 in Harnett County, NC to the late Marion Lester Houston and Barbara Wood Houston.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Wood; father, Marion Lester Houston; mother, Barbara Wood Houston; and her son, David Vance Wood.

Marion Renee is survived by her son, Jonathan Wood of Dunn; a daughter, Christa Renee Murray of Fountain, NC; sisters, Connie Norris of Erwin, Brenda Jeanette Johnson of Angier, and Mavis Frable of Cameron, along with many nieces and nephews.  Also her constant doggie companion, Riley.
