Margaret Lou (Edwards) McLamb

Margaret Lou Edwards McLamb, 90, of Dunn, passed away Tuesday morning, January 21 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born in Wake County, June 7, 1934 to the late Herley Edwards Horne.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Danford McLamb and her brothers, Lonnie and Sammy Horne.

She is survived by her son, Danny McLamb and wife, Donna; granddaughter, Deanna M. Batson and husband, Nathan; grandson, Devin McLamb; 2 great grandsons, Wesley and Waylin Batson, all of Dunn; a sister, Alice Burton of Thomasville and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 24 from 1:00-1:50pm at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel in Benson followed by a funeral service at 2:00pm.  She will be laid to rest at Harnett Devotional Gardens in Dunn.
