Linda Joy (Harris) Sealey

Linda Harris Sealey, 60, of Dunn passed away peacefully and entered the kingdom of Heaven on Friday April 22, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones. Linda was born on May 19, 1961, in Cherry Point, NC to James Robert and Elizabeth Harris. Linda graduated from Hobbton High School in 1980.
 
Linda is survived by her husband of 39 years, Donald Sealey, her four children- Donna Grantham (Matthew) of Kinston, Eric Sealey (Ashley) of Dunn, Alan Sealey (Victoria) of Dunn and Kevin Sealey (Jennifer) of Dunn, as well as her fur baby, Candy. Linda is also survived by her niece that she helped raise, Megan Snell (Justin), her mother, Elizabeth Harris, and her siblings Anthony Harris (Diana), Debbie Harris (Mike) and Elaine Davis (Dick) and aunt Gloria Denning. She was proceeded in death by her father, James Robert Harris, her father and mother-in-law, Marvin and Ruby Sealey, and her grandchildren, Amelia, Lindsey and angel grand babies.
 
Linda was a beloved “MawMaw” to 11 grandchildren, Skylar, Gracie, Ella, Dillon, Caden, Mason, Everley, Makenzie, Gavin, Lofton and Katie. Linda was also a beloved “Aunt MawMaw” to Adaleigh and Everett.
 
Linda was an adored wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. Linda brought joy to all of those who were blessed with her presence, which was fitting that Joy was her middle name. Linda loved to sing, dance and to joke around. Linda had a big heart and a loving soul that will be missed by all of those who knew her. 
 
Linda was a devoted Christian, who loved Jesus Christ. Linda was a member of Pleasant Union Christian Church in Newton Grove. Linda had a passion of helping and serving others. Linda spent many years working at the Westbrook Community Center and Rolling Ridge as the activity director. Linda always wanted to make sure that everyone had fun and knew that they were loved
