Lawrence William Hargrove

Mr. Lawrence W. Hargrove age 86, of Clinton passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023 at The Carrolton of Dunn. His funeral service will be held Saturday, June 3, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of West & Dunn Funeral Home, Newton Grove. The family will receive friends and family 1 hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Officiating the service will be Pastor Nick Adams. He will be laid to rest in The Clinton City Cemetery, Clinton. 

Mr. Hargrove worked in farming and retired from Fluor Daniels Construction. He was an avid hunter and like to fish. He enjoyed sports of all kinds. He had a love for country music, comedies and Family Feud tv sitcom. He proudly served his country serving in the US Army.

Left to cherish his memories are his sons; Lawrence Hargrove and wife Patty, Marlon (Skeezie) Britt and wife Teresa. Daughter; Pattie Britt. Four grandchildren, Chrissy and Nick Adams, Will and Jesaya Hargrove, Neal and Jenny Britt and Nicholas and Rachel Britt. Nine great grandchildren; Olivia Adams, Lainey Adams, Thomas Henry Adams, Emma Hargrove, Isabella (Hayes) Hargrove, Theo Hargrove, Mason Britt, Ashton Britt and Bryson Britt. Also, surviving are two sisters; Ganelle Cook and Jean Ellis. 

Mr. Hargrove was preceded in death by his wife; Edna Hargrove, his parents; Thomas Henry & Nellie Hargrove and seven siblings: Patrick Hargorve, Nick Hargrove, George Hargrove, Mary Agnus Puryear, Lucian Hargrove, James Hargrove and Maggie Logan.
