LaRuth (Johnson) Lee

LaRuth Johnson Lee, 95, of Newton Grove, passed away Monday, June 9, 2025 at Rolling Ridge Assisted Living Center.  

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12 from 1:00-2:00pm followed by a funeral service at 2:00pm at Smyrna OFWB Church.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jake Lee; her parents, Samuel D. and Louise Johnson; a son, John J. Lee; a grand-daughter, Amy Lee; three brothers and 5 sisters.

She is survived by a son, William "Pud" Lee (Monica) of Newton Grove; a daughter, Barbara Aman of Mt. Olive; and a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth H. Lee of Newton Grove. Also left to cherish her memories are six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren.
