Kevin Von Scott McDonald

Mr. Kevin Von Scott McDonald, 61, of Erwin, NC, passed away at home on Sunday, December 25th, 2022. He was born in Erwin, NC at Good Hope Hospital on July 24th,1961, the oldest son of Drucilla McDonald and the late Norman Devon McDonald.

Kevin was a graduate of Erwin High School and worked as a master machinist for over 30 years. He loved Star Trek, fishing, and watching football, as he was a lifelong and die-hard fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Edith Jakeman McDonald of the home, who faithfully cared for him during his brave and difficult fight against Multiple Myeloma Cancer.

Also surviving are their three daughters:

Skye McDonald of Coats; Jenna McDonald of Erwin; and Sarah McDonald of Erwin; and six grandchildren: Killian, Arya, Samuel, Kain, Nora, and Connor.

His Mother, Drucilla McDonald of Erwin; his sister, Samantha M. Thomas of Lillington; and several Nieces and Nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Norman Devon McDonald and his infant brother Mark McDonald.

Visitation will be held on Thursday 29th, 2022 at West & Dunn Funeral Home of Erwin from 11:00 am to Noon.

Following the visitation, will be the Graveside service at Erwin Memorial Park of Erwin.
