Keith Earl Thornton

Keith Earl Thornton, age 67, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 9, 2025. He was born on July 25, 1958 to the late James Thornton and Bertha Langston. 

He is also preceded in death by many brothers and sisters and a nephew, Melvin "Big Boy" Tucker, Jr. 

Keith was known to have a Coke or Pepsi and a Hershey bar in his hand. He enjoyed listening to Christian music and listening to the guitar. Keith loved to watch wrestling and old western shows with his family and a good rocking chair to relax in. Most of all, Keith loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his brothers James Dwight Thornton and Buck Thornton and many nieces and nephews. 

A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 11 , 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Thornton Family Cemetery of Newton Grove. 

He will be greatly missed.
