Kathy Jean McLamb

Kathy Jean McLamb, 68, of Benson, North Carolina, passed away on December 15, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hiram Meadows, and Nancy Louise Meadows, her husband, of 47 years, Jerry Wayne McLamb, her son, Jeremy Dewayne McLamb, brother, David Meadows, sisters, Linda Whitman, and Janie Meadows.

She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia McLamb Barber(Max) of Benson, brothers Jeff Meadows of Benson and Robin Mills of Smithfield, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Kathy was a hard worker all of her life working factory work, mostly night shift, and continued to be a night owl even after she retired. She was a loving and generous, giving person who loved unconditionally. Despite the many losses in her life, she continued to laugh and smile, her laugh was contagious and she will be missed so very much by her family and loved ones, but she is now reunited with the loved ones that went before her that she missed so dearly.

There will be a private viewing for the immediate family followed by a memorial service for family and friends that will be announced at a later date.
